Job Title: Cashier – Restaurant

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our restaurant team. The cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, maintaining a clean and organized counter area, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with billing and payment.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change as required.
- Maintain records of daily transactions and balance the cash register.
- Ensure the counter area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Answer customer queries and provide information about menu items or promotions.
- Collaborate with the serving and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all company policies, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and handling cash.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
