About the Role
BDE is responsible for creating awareness about the institute’s programs, generating student leads, conducting outreach activities, and supporting the admissions process through effective student and parent engagement.
BDE acts as the first point of contact between the institute and prospective students through seminars, institutional tie-ups, events, campaigns, and follow-ups. This is mostly field-oriented role with regular travel for relationship building and outreach activities.
Student Outreach & Awareness
Conduct awareness activities in schools, colleges, tuition centres, and public events
Organize and coordinate seminars, workshops, career guidance sessions, and orientation programs
Promote programs such as IPMAT, CLAT, CAT, CUET, Banking, and other courses offered by the institute
Build awareness among students and parents regarding career opportunities and entrance examinations
Lead Generation
Generate quality student leads through field activities and campaigns
Collect student databases and maintain accurate records
Ensure maximum participation in seminars, webinars, and orientation sessions
Generate walk-ins and counselling appointments for the centre
Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, principals, teachers, and influencers
Coordinate with institutional contacts for conducting sessions and events
Support referral and partnership initiatives
Follow-up & Student Engagement
Follow up with prospective students and parents through calls, WhatsApp, and direct interactions
Share course details, creatives, brochures, and registration links
Classify leads as Hot / Warm / Cold and update the CRM or lead tracker regularly
Coordinate with counsellors for further conversion activities
Event & Outreach Support
Support orientation programs, seminars, webinars, workshops, and promotional activities.
Ensure smooth coordination before, during, and after events
Assist in school/college outreach activities when required.
Reporting & Coordination
Submit daily activity and lead generation reports
Maintain updated data in CRM/Excel trackers
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate/ Postgraduate in any discipline.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong counselling and persuasion ability
Good presentation and relationship management skills
Ability to conduct seminars and student interactions confidently
Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Sales force
Willingness to travel for outreach activities
Experience as a BDE in any education institution is a plus
