Job Title: Billing Engineer – Interior Works

Job Summary:
The Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing all project billing activities related to interior fit-out works. The role ensures accurate quantity take-offs, timely client billing, subcontractor bill verification, and compliance with contract terms.
Key Responsibilities:1. Client Billing
- Prepare RA (Running Account) bills as per work progress
- Verify measurements with site team before billing
- Ensure billing as per BOQ, drawings, and agreed rates
- Submit bills with proper documentation and follow-up for certification
2. Quantity Take-Off (QTO)
- Extract quantities from drawings (civil & interior works)
- Cross-check executed quantities at site
- Maintain quantity reconciliation reports
3. Subcontractor Billing
- Verify subcontractor/vendor bills as per actual work done
- Check rates, quantities, and work completion status
- Coordinate with site engineers for measurement confirmation
4. Rate Analysis & Variations
- Prepare rate analysis for extra items / deviation works
- Track variation orders and get approvals
- Maintain variation statement records
5. Documentation & MIS
- Maintain billing records, BOQs, and work orders
- Prepare weekly/monthly billing reports
- Track certification and payment status
6. Coordination
- Coordinate with Project, Accounts, and Procurement teams
- Attend site meetings for billing and quantity discussions
- Support audits and client queries related to billing
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of interior BOQ & measurements
- Good understanding of drawings (AutoCAD preferred)
- MS Excel proficiency (formulas, billing sheets)
- Knowledge of RA billing & reconciliation
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience:
- 2–5 years in interior fit-out / construction billing
Preferred Industry:
- Interior Fit-Out / Turnkey Projects / Construction

- Accuracy in billing (error-free submissions)
- Timely submission of RA bills
- Proper quantity reconciliation
- Control over subcontractor billing
- Effective variation claim management
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
