Role Overview
As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing our organization's Profitability processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment with industry standards. You will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving processes that impact various aspects of our operations. Your expertise in process design, Six Sigma/lean methodologies, and your ability to lead and influence teams will be crucial in driving positive outcomes for the company.
Responsibilities
Ø Monitor and analyze pricing performance, margins, and profitability at customer, product, and lane/segment levels
Ø Identify margin leakages, pricing inefficiencies, and cost-to-serve gaps
Ø Support pricing decisions through data-driven insights and scenario analysis
Ø Partner with sales, finance, and operations teams to improve deal profitability
Ø Apply Six Sigma / Lean Six Sigma tools to identify process inefficiencies in pricing, costing, and approvals
Ø Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce errors, rework, and cycle times
Ø Standardize pricing workflows, controls, and documentation
Ø Drive automation and simplification of pricing-related processes where possible
Ø Develop dashboards, MIS, and reports to track pricing performance and KPIs
Ø Conduct root cause analysis for pricing deviations and profitability variances
Ø Ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency across systems
Ø Act as a bridge between pricing, finance, sales, and operations teams
Ø Present insights and improvement recommendations to leadership
Ø Support training and change management for new pricing or process initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
Ø Bachelor's degree in technology or MBA in related field from Tier I institutions.
Ø Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification
Ø Knowledge of Logistics and supply
Ø Previous experience in process improvement roles.
Ø Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.
Ø Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
Ø Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ø Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in documentation and analysis.
Ø Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to derive insights and drive data-based decision-making.
Ø Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
