Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled OT Technician to support surgical procedures by preparing the operation theatre, maintaining sterile conditions, and assisting surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff. The ideal candidate should ensure smooth OT operations while following hospital safety and infection control protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operation theatre before surgical procedures.
- Arrange, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and OT nurses during surgeries.
- Prepare and position patients for surgical procedures.
- Ensure strict aseptic and infection control practices.
- Operate and maintain OT equipment such as suction machines, OT lights, cautery machines, and patient monitors.
- Maintain inventory of surgical instruments, consumables, and OT supplies.
- Clean and disinfect the operation theatre after each procedure.
- Dispose of biomedical waste as per hospital protocols.
- Assist in emergency and trauma surgeries when required.
- Maintain accurate OT records and documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT).
- 3 years of experience as an OT Technician.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and OT protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle emergency cases.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
