Job Description – Admission Counsellor / Tele calling Executive
Department: Admissions & Student Outreach
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Admission Counsellor / Tele calling Executive who can effectively communicate with prospective students, guide them regarding courses and admissions, and contribute towards achieving enrolment targets through professional counselling and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Calls Management
- Conduct outbound and inbound counselling calls to prospective students and parents.
- Maximize conversions through effective tele calling and follow-up strategies.
- Maintain daily call targets, conversion tracking, and follow-up schedules.
Product Knowledge & Pitching
- Develop in-depth knowledge of courses, programs, admission procedures, and institutional offerings.
- Deliver persuasive and professional counselling presentations to prospects.
Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and referral partners.
- Ensure positive candidate experience throughout the admission journey.
Target Achievement
- Consistently meet or exceed admission and sales targets assigned by the management.
- Support marketing and admission campaigns to improve enrolments.
Objection Handling
- Address student and parent queries effectively.
- Resolve objections and provide accurate information to increase conversion rates.
Call Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all calls maintain professional quality standards.
- Follow institutional policies, communication guidelines, and compliance requirements.
CRM Utilization & Time Management
- Properly update and maintain student records in CRM/software systems.
- Manage call schedules, follow-ups, and reporting efficiently.
Continuous Learning & Team Collaboration
- Stay updated with industry trends, educational programs, and counselling techniques.
- Coordinate with marketing, admissions, and academic teams for smooth operations.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong convincing and counselling ability
- Good knowledge of tele calling and sales techniques
- CRM/software handling skills
- Ability to work under targets and deadlines
- Strong time management and teamwork skills
Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred)
- Experience in education counselling/tele calling/sales will be an added advantage
Experience:
- 0–3 years of experience in tele calling, admissions, counselling, or sales
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: As per industry standards + Incentives based on performance.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
