Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Operation Theatre Technician to support surgeons, nurses, and the medical team in providing safe and efficient surgical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Operation Theatre before and after surgical procedures.
- Arrange and check surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries.
- Maintain strict sterilization, infection-control, and aseptic protocols.
- Handle and maintain OT equipment and surgical instruments.
- Ensure proper availability of emergency and surgical supplies.
- Assist with patient positioning and safe transfer before and after procedures.
- Coordinate with the OT nursing and medical teams for smooth workflow.
- Maintain OT records, equipment checklists, and sterilization documentation.
- Ensure proper cleaning and readiness of the OT after every procedure.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and NABH protocols.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of OT procedures and surgical instruments.
- Strong understanding of sterilization and infection-control practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and emergency situations.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
