We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to support our digital outreach and brand awareness initiatives. The intern will help manage social media platforms, create engaging content, and promote the foundation’s campaigns, events, and impact stories.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X
- Design basic creatives, reels, posters, and awareness campaigns
- Write engaging captions, hashtags, and social media copy
- Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns
- Monitor social media trends and suggest innovative content ideas
- Track engagement metrics and prepare basic performance reports
- Coordinate with the content, design, and outreach teams
- Support event promotions, fundraising campaigns, and volunteer engagement activities
- Maintain consistency in the organization’s online branding and messaging
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of social media marketing and digital branding
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools
- Creativity in content creation and storytelling
- Knowledge of Instagram Reels, short-form videos, and social media trends
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Students or recent graduates in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or related fields
- Prior experience managing social media pages is a plus
- Passion for social impact and nonprofit initiatives
