Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Vendor Management person to drive rider acquisition and vendor partnerships for our delivery operations. The role involves identifying, onboarding, and managing recruitment vendors, agencies, and rider supply partners to ensure a consistent availability of delivery riders across Bangalore, Chennai, and other operational cities.
This is a field-intensive individual contributor role requiring strong networking skills, vendor management experience, and the ability to build reliable rider sourcing channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, onboard, and manage recruitment vendors, manpower agencies, and rider sourcing partners.
- Ensure a continuous supply of delivery riders to meet business hiring targets.
- Develop new sourcing channels for rider recruitment across operational cities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and recruitment partners.
- Monitor vendor performance and hiring productivity.
- Conduct regular field visits to identify and expand rider supply networks.
- Coordinate with operations and recruitment teams to understand city-wise hiring requirements.
- Ensure quality onboarding and compliance of sourced riders.
- Track hiring metrics, vendor effectiveness, and rider fulfillment rates.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in Vendor Management, Rider Hiring, Field Recruitment, Logistics Recruitment, or Gig Workforce Management.
- Proven experience in sourcing and onboarding delivery riders through vendors/agencies.
- Strong network within logistics, hyperlocal delivery, staffing, or manpower sourcing ecosystems.
- Ability to identify and develop new recruitment vendors and rider supply channels.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with extensive travel across operational cities.
