Job Responsibilities:
CAE (Sheet metal forming and stage simulation):
- Independently handling Dieface design/modeling (UG-NX software) and Sheet Metal simulation softwares (AutoForm and Pamstamp) of Car's Outer panels (Door, Roof, Hood, Fender and Side Body Outer) and Inner panels (Door and High Tensile steel parts).
- Capability of providing countermeasures for deformation, springback and compensation/morphing in Think3 software
- Capable to identify part quality issues and perform quality improvement work to enhance part accuracy post CAE during trial
- Prepare surface data for NC programming/machining requirements
Press die design:
- Basic knowhow of Press Die operations, stages, die design, manufacturing and die trial for Car's outer, Inner sheet metal parts and High Strength Steel parts
Technical / Functional:
- Experience of Dieface design/modeling (UG-NX software) and Sheet Metal simulation softwares (AutoForm and Pamstamp) of Car's Outer panels (Door, Roof, Hood, Fender and Side Body Outer) and Inner panels (Door and High Tensile steel parts).
- Knowhow of providing countermeasures for deformation, springback and compensation/morphing in Think3 software
- Experience to identify part quality issues and perform quality improvement work to enhance part accuracy post CAE during trial
- Knowledge surface data preparation for NC programming/machining requirement
- Participation in in-house and line trials for simulation v/s actual results verification and gap analysis
- Basic know how of press die design stages, structure and die parts, die machining, die assembly & trials
Must Have Skills:
- Dieface modeling for car’s outer, inner and High Tensile steel sheet metal panels
- Sheet Metal simulation softwares (AutoForm and Pamstamp) and surfacing software Think3
- Deformation, springback simulation and compensation
- Capable to identify part quality issues and provide countermeasure for quality improvement activities
- Know-how of Press Die manufacturing process (Machining, assembly, trial) and Die/Panel Quality
- UG-NX software proficiency (Advance Surface modeling)
Preferred Organization:
- 4-wheeler OEMs with Press Die Design experience: TATA, M&M, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, VW, Renault, Nissan, MG, Eicher, Force Motors, Bajaj etc.
