Role Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth for our Consulting & Training vertical, which delivers Industrial Hygiene (IH) Surveys, Occupational Hygiene Surveys, Fire Audits, Safety Audits, and Statutory Compliance & Training programs to corporate and industrial clients. This role suits candidates from an EHS, safety, industrial hygiene, technical, or consulting background who want to move into (or already have) business development experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business for the Consulting & Training vertical's core service lines: Industrial Hygiene (IH) surveys, Occupational Hygiene surveys, Fire Audits, Safety Audits, statutory compliance assessments, and corporate training programs
- Identify and pursue leads across manufacturing, process, and industrial sectors requiring EHS compliance and audit services
- Meet corporate clients (HR, EHS, Admin, Plant Heads) to understand their compliance/training needs and pitch appropriate audit or training solutions
- Prepare and present proposals/quotations for audits, surveys, and training programs in coordination with technical consultants
- Build a pipeline through cold calls, client visits, industry networking, and referrals
- Coordinate with internal subject-matter experts (IH specialists, fire safety auditors, trainers) to ensure accurate scoping and smooth project execution post-sale
- Track and report on lead pipeline, conversions, and revenue against assigned targets
- Stay current on regulatory changes (Factories Act, GPCB norms, DISH requirements) that create compliance-driven demand for these services
Candidate Profile
- 3–8 years of experience
- Background in EHS / Industrial Hygiene / Fire Safety / Safety Audits / technical consulting preferred — candidates who have worked on or sold IH surveys, occupational hygiene assessments, fire audits, or safety audits will ramp up fastest
- Experience or strong interest in B2B sales/business development
- Ability to translate technical audit/compliance findings into a client-facing value pitch
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, comfortable with a consultative (not transactional) sales cycle

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
