- Design and Drafting: Create detailed BMS architecture, layouts, control panel designs, and network schematics using software like AutoCAD.
- Documentation: Prepare Scope of Work (SOW), technical specifications, datasheets, and sequence of operations.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety codes, and project requirements.
- Material Selection: Generate Bill of Materials (BOQ) and select sensors, controllers, and field devices.
- Coordination: Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) teams and manufacturing teams to ensure proper system integration.
- System Optimization: Develop energy-efficient strategies, custom reporting, and graphics for monitoring.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5+ years in BMS design, HVAC controls, or building automation.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in DDC (Direct Digital Control) controller programming and communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or LONworks.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel for BOQ).
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination
