Job Summary
The Senior Manager – Expansion & International Business Development will be responsible for driving domestic and international expansion initiatives for Kannu Ki Chai through franchise development, market identification, location sourcing, investor engagement, and business partnerships. The role will manage the complete expansion lifecycle from lead generation and site evaluation to franchise onboarding and outlet handover.
The incumbent will work closely with prospective franchisees, investors, consultants, brokers, landlords, and internal departments to ensure successful business expansion while maintaining company standards and commercial viability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities1. Expansion Business Development
Generate and manage domestic and international expansion leads for franchise and company-owned business opportunities.
2. Franchise Development
Present franchise opportunities, business models, commercial proposals, and investment structures to prospective franchise partners.
3. International Market Development
Identify suitable countries, territories, and international markets for expansion and business growth.
4. Investor & Franchisee Relationship Management
Develop and maintain relationships with investors, franchisees, consultants, and business partners.
5. Site Identification & Location Sourcing
Coordinate with brokers, landlords, developers, and property consultants to identify suitable locations.
6. Location Feasibility Analysis
Evaluate locations based on demographics, visibility, footfall, accessibility, competition, rentals, and business potential.
7. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
Conduct market studies and feasibility assessments to support expansion decisions.
8. Commercial Negotiations
Lead negotiations related to franchise fees, rentals, commercial terms, deposits, and partnership agreements.
9. Franchise Documentation Management
Coordinate KYC, LOI, MOU, franchise agreements, legal documentation, and approval processes.
10. Expansion Pipeline Management
Maintain and monitor domestic and international expansion pipelines and conversion reports.
11. Financial Follow-Up & Collections
Monitor franchise fees, deposits, commercial payments, and expansion-related collections.
12. Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with Legal, Projects, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
13. Project Handover Management
Ensure proper transition of signed projects to Projects and Operations teams.
14. Franchise Support & Onboarding
Assist franchise partners throughout onboarding, setup, launch, and operational readiness.
15. Exhibition & Networking Participation
Represent the company at franchise exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, and networking events.
16. Expansion MIS & Reporting
Prepare expansion reports, feasibility studies, forecasts, and business development updates.
17. Partner Relationship Management
Maintain strong engagement with franchise partners to support long-term business success.
18. Business Opportunity Evaluation
Assess new expansion models, partnership opportunities, and emerging markets.
19. Expansion Risk Assessment
Identify risks associated with expansion projects and recommend mitigation measures.
20. Confidentiality & Professional Integrity
Maintain confidentiality of commercial agreements, franchise negotiations, business plans, and company information.
Pay: ₹483,561.30 - ₹1,914,688.96 per year
