About the Company
Sri Atchaya Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is a leading engineering and construction company specializing in mechanical, piping, structural, tankage, and industrial projects for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, and Process industries. We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and taxation.
Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's complete finance and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, preparing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, and supporting management with financial planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Finalize books of accounts and coordinate statutory and internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory regulations.
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings within prescribed timelines.
- Monitor project-wise costing, budgeting, and profitability.
- Manage cash flow, banking transactions, and fund planning.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts regularly.
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, consultants, and government authorities.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, and management reports.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and financial documentation.
- Guide and supervise junior accounting staff while maintaining financial discipline across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with CA Inter, CMA, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in Engineering, Construction, EPC, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and audit procedures.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in project accounting and contract accounting.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Ability to independently handle complete accounts and financial operations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
