Job Description
Understand and uphold the Vision and Mission of the University.
Lead and motivate supervisors and support staff for the efficient functioning of the hostel.
Maintain positive relationships with students and their parents.
Supervise mess operations, maintain supply records, and ensure timely submission of reports.
Ensure warden presence in the hostel office and mess during designated hours.
Take daily attendance, monitor room cleanliness, interact with students, and enforce hostel regulations.
Identify and report prohibited items or disciplinary issues to the Deputy Chief Warden/Chief Warden.
Identify students requiring guidance or counseling and refer them through appropriate channels.
Monitor and supervise the daily work of hostel supervisors and support staff.
Coordinate and follow up on maintenance requirements with concerned departments.
Conduct regular late-night rounds to ensure safety, discipline, and compliance.
Provide immediate assistance to sick students, arrange medical care, and keep the Chief Warden and Deputy Chief Warden informed.
