About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our growing team in Electronic City, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should be proficient in teaching Guitar, Keyboard, and Drums to students of various age groups and skill levels. The candidate should have experience preparing students for Trinity College London Grade Examinations and be enthusiastic about nurturing musical talent through structured learning and performance opportunities.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Training
- Conduct engaging and effective lessons in Guitar, Keyboard, and Drums.
- Teach students across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
- Prepare students for Trinity College London Grade Examinations.
- Develop lesson plans and learning pathways based on student goals and abilities.
- Ensure students demonstrate steady progress in both practical and theoretical aspects of music.
Student Assessment & Administration
- Maintain accurate student attendance and progress records.
- Prepare periodic student assessment reports and performance evaluations.
- Track examination readiness and communicate progress with parents when required.
- Assist in curriculum planning and academic improvements.
Events & Performances
- Organize individual and group music performances.
- Prepare students for annual concerts, recitals, competitions, and public events.
- Coordinate rehearsals and performance schedules.
- Encourage teamwork and stage confidence among students.
Academy Support
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Support student retention through high-quality teaching and engagement.
- Collaborate with management and fellow instructors for academy initiatives and events.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Guitar, Keyboard, and Drums.
- Minimum 2 years of music teaching experience.
- Experience preparing students for Trinity Grade Examinations.
- Good understanding of music theory and practical training.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to teach children, teenagers, and adults.
Preferred Qualifications
- Trinity, ABRSM, Rockschool, or equivalent music certifications.
- Experience conducting music ensembles, bands, or group performances.
- Prior experience in music schools, academies, or educational institutions.
