About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations for a leading catering services organization in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring food quality, maintaining hygiene standards, supervising kitchen staff, and supporting efficient day-to-day catering operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations and food production activities.
- Ensure food is prepared and served according to established quality standards and recipes.
- Monitor kitchen staff performance and allocate duties effectively.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Coordinate with procurement and store teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Monitor food consumption, wastage, and portion control.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items and ingredients.
- Assist in menu planning and implementation as required.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology, Food Production, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Senior Cook, Kitchen Incharge, or similar role.
- Experience in catering services, industrial catering, hotels, restaurants, or hospitality operations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to lead and manage kitchen staff effectively.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Experience managing high-volume food production.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
