We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive System Administrator & DevOps Engineer to manage, secure, and optimize our IT infrastructure, cloud environment, web applications, and mobile application deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux/Windows server administration, cloud platforms, networking, automation, CI/CD, containerization, security, and application deployment. This role requires someone who can ensure high system availability, improve deployment efficiency, maintain robust security standards, and support the continuous delivery of both web and mobile applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration
- Install, configure, maintain, and monitor Linux and Windows servers.
- Manage physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and user access controls.
- Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security hardening.
- Monitor server performance, uptime, and infrastructure health.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
- Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and network-related issues.
DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web and mobile applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Manage cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Configure and maintain Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
- Automate deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
- Manage application environments including Development, Testing, Staging, and Production.
- Monitor infrastructure using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalent.
Web & Mobile Application Management
- Deploy, configure, and maintain web applications across multiple environments.
- Support deployment pipelines for Android and iOS applications.
- Manage application servers, reverse proxies (NGINX/Apache), SSL certificates, and domain configurations.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability.
- Coordinate with developers during releases and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot deployment, API integration, and application infrastructure issues.
Security & Compliance
- Implement server and application security best practices.
- Manage SSL certificates, IAM policies, secrets management, and access controls.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Monitor system logs and respond to security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and data protection requirements.
Automation & Monitoring
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and infrastructure management.
- Configure centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Analyze system metrics and recommend performance improvements.
Collaboration
- Work closely with software developers, QA teams, product managers, and IT support teams.
- Participate in release planning and infrastructure architecture discussions.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and deployment guides.
- Provide technical support for internal teams when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in System Administration and DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
- Experience with NGINX, Apache, IIS, and application hosting.
- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms.
- Experience supporting web application and mobile application deployments.
Preferred Skills
- Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Database administration knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server).
- Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Android and iOS release management processes.
- Knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience managing scalable production environments.
