Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to supervise service staff and ensure excellent dining experiences. The ideal candidate will coordinate floor operations, maintain service standards, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide waiters and service staff during shifts
- Welcome guests and ensure timely, courteous service
- Take customer orders and ensure accurate order delivery
- Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service operations
- Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas
- Monitor service quality and staff grooming standards
- Assist in training new service staff
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and hygiene standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma (hotel management preferred)
- Strong knowledge of food & beverage service
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of POS systems is an advantage
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in restaurant service
- Prior experience as a Captain / Supervisor preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
