Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Real-Time VFX Artist with deep, production-proven expertise in Unreal Engine’s Niagara VFX system. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the procedural and dynamic visual effects that give our cinematic projects life, grit, and hyper-realism.
You will build custom particle setups, complex material shaders, and real-time simulations, working tightly with our asset creation pipeline. The ideal candidate understands that real-time VFX isn't just about explosions, it's about atmospheric micro-details, technical accuracy, and impeccable timing within a cinematic sequence.
Key Responsibilities
- Niagara System Architecture: Design, script, and optimize modular real-time particle effects (smoke, dust, fire, fluids, sparks, and mechanical debris) entirely within the Niagara node-based framework.Upwork
- Cinematic Integration: Implement, time, and keyframe Niagara systems flawlessly inside the Unreal Level Sequencer to align perfectly with dramatic camera sweeps and vehicle animations.
- Dynamic Shaders & Vector Fields: Build advanced, dynamic master materials and custom vector fields to dictate realistic, turbulence-driven particle motion.
- Optimization for Rendering: Ensure all heavy particle simulations are optimized using GPU particle logic, dynamic parameter baking, and engine performance metrics to guarantee flawless high-fidelity rendering via the Movie Render Queue.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Niagara Mastery: Advanced knowledge of the Niagara VFX System (including custom module script creation, event handlers, and data interfaces).Saber Job Openings
