Junior Network Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Manages the network and I.T. infrastructure and determines root cause of high priority incidents to ensure they are prevented from happening in the future.
- Works closely with Senior Network Management to propose improvements to the network infrastructure and executes various projects to improve IT service availability.
- Resolves incidents and Trouble tickets within a timely manner.
- Performs data protection operations and administration.
- Performs other I.T. duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Cisco Certified with CCNA or any other Network Certification.
- Some experience with supporting and troubleshooting Linux and Centos.
- Willingness and openness towards learning and maintaining a Microsoft Windows environment in workstation/ server/ infrastructure support role.
Professional Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian (change always for every new job creating).
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Desire to work in an information systems environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Eligible for Reliability Security clearance.
