The role plays a key role in supporting the sales organization to drive new equipment business within the assigned territory. The role is responsible for generating qualified inquiries, supporting opportunity conversion, and strengthening customer relationships. It involves active participation in tendering, proposal preparation, and negotiation support, while ensuring disciplined execution of sales processes. The role contributes to achieving sales targets through focused market development activities, proactive engagement with stakeholders, and timely coordination with internal teams to enable smooth order acquisition and handover.
Generate leads, opportunities, Provide Design Solution to meet the customer requirement, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget.
Document customer information’s in CRM & responsible of gathering relevant information from Market including timely/accurate reporting.
Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility
Client Meetings & Presentation: Visit job sites, meet with builders, architects, and property owners to present elevator solutions.
Prepare, request technical solution from Application Engineering team and submit technical and commercial proposals and tenders; participate in pre‑bid discussions and negotiation meetings.
Proposal Generation: Hands on internal ERP tool, prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documents in coordination with the sales manager, and ensure timely and accurate processing of received orders
Negotiation & Closing: Interact on Technical USPs, coordinate for price with Manager, take help from manager and close contracts to meet monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Collaborate with the Construction Department to ensure effective contract management and smooth project execution
Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints, upholding service excellence and customer satisfaction through interaction with departmental teams.
Post Order Management: Collaborate with other department on post order management, coordinate with factory/SCM and technical teams for order placement and ensure payments are collected.
Receivable Management: Should have the ability to understand the financial management viz Invoice/PI, Collections etc.
o Experience: 1 to 2+ years in sales within the elevator, escalator, or construction industry.
o Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related fields.
o Technical Knowledge: Understanding of elevator types, technical specs, and safety regulations is a plus.
o Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
o Mobility: 2-wheeler is often mandatory for field work.
o Familiarity with CRM software, MS office.
o Strong knowledge of the local construction market and developer network.
