Overview
Mars India is a specialized manufacturer of automotive components, including LSM (Lumbar Support Motor), VBM (Vent Blower Motor), and PCB Assembly. We are seeking a result-oriented and strategically driven Plant Head to lead overall plant operations, ensure operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement in a high-performance, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end plant operations including production, procurement, quality, maintenance, and logistics .
- Ensure alignment of production plans with business objectives and customer delivery commitments.
- Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and productivity improvements across all functions .
- Oversee procurement strategy, vendor development, and supply chain reliability .
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols .
- Monitor plant performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Build and develop cross-functional teams to enhance capability and performance .
- Collaborate with senior management for strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
- Establish strong reporting systems and present plant performance to MD/leadership .
Common Requirements
- Korean Business Culture: Familiarity with Korean corporate work culture (high discipline, data-driven decision-making, fast-paced execution, and strict timelines) .
- Language Skills: Fluency in English & Hindi (mandatory); Korean language proficiency preferred .
- Leadership Skills: Strong people management, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Reporting: Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for leadership-level reporting and presentations .
- Industry Exposure: Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, supply chain, and plant operations .
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Production or related field) .
- MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage .
Pay: From ₹750,000.00 per year
