- Migration Waves, Cutover & Rollback – MUST
- Windows/Linux – MUST
- IAM & Security – MUST
- Backup & DR – MUST
- AWS Migration Tools – MUST
- Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management – MUST
Key Responsibilities
- Assess applications, servers, databases, dependencies, performance, security, compliance, and cloud readiness.
- Execute migration waves using Rehost, Replatform, Relocate, or Repurchase approaches.
- Work with AWS Landing Zones, VMware, Windows/Linux, Networking, IAM, Storage, Databases, and Backup/DR.
- Handle data synchronization, connectivity, testing, cutover, rollback, and issue resolution.
- Prepare migration runbooks and ensure Day-1 service continuity.
- Validate migrated workloads for availability, performance, security, monitoring, backup, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, application, network, security, database, and business teams.
- Prepare documentation and hand over migrated services to cloud operations.
Important – Migration Experience is Mandatory
Candidates must have hands-on, end-to-end AWS cloud migration experience. Candidates with only AWS Administration or AWS DevOps experience and no hands-on end-to-end AWS migration experience should NOT apply.
