Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SCM Logistics professional to manage end-to-end domestic sales and purchase logistics operations. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics activities to ensure timely dispatches, vehicle availability, and smooth material movement across India.
Key ResponsibilitiesDomestic Logistics Management
- Handle end-to-end domestic sales and purchase logistics operations.
- Plan and execute outward domestic logistics based on JIT (Just-In-Time) principles.
- Ensure timely dispatches to customers across India.
Coordination & Planning
- Coordinate with the Production Team for material readiness and dispatch planning.
- Monitor dispatch schedules and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
- Liaise with internal departments for smooth logistics operations.
Vehicle & Transport Management
- Arrange and manage truck and tanker placement for domestic dispatches.
- Plan vehicle allocation for material collection and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with transporters to ensure efficient vehicle utilization.
Dispatch & Movement Control
- Monitor Pan-India material movement after vehicle placement.
- Track shipments and resolve transportation-related issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with logistics procedures and documentation requirements.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Maintain logistics records, dispatch reports, and transporter performance data.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
- Support the SCM team in achieving operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of domestic logistics and transportation management.
- Experience in dispatch planning and vehicle coordination.
- Good understanding of supply chain and warehouse operations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple dispatches simultaneously.
Educational Qualification
Experience
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Dispatch Operations.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
