About the Role
RiFab Structures Private Limited is looking for a Design Engineer / Product Developer with 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, product development, and CAD design. The candidate will be responsible for designing prefabricated solutions, preparing technical drawings, developing prototypes, ensuring quality build, and coordinating with manufacturing teams for execution.
Responsibilities
- Contribute in product conceptualization and development
- Prepare 2D / 3D CAD drawings, layouts, and technical drawings for prefabricated modular structures
- Develop structural components, assemblies, and product designs
- Convert conceptual ideas into detailed design drawings and technical specifications
- Improve products by optimizing design, material usage, and structural efficiency
- Create prototype designs and technical documentation for new products
- Prepare assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM)
- Ensure designs meet engineering standards and project specifications
- Coordinate with fabrication, production, and project teams for design implementation
- Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Product Design
- 2–4 years of experience in engineering design
- Experience in product development and technical detailing
- Proficiency in: AutoCAD, 3D tools, MS Excel & basic design tools
- Sound understanding of fabrication standards
