Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Production Manager to support and oversee daily manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will assist in achieving production targets, ensuring product quality, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning, organizing, and monitoring daily production activities to meet output targets.
Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials. Monitor production schedules and coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain product quality standards and ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs. Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce wastage. Supervise production teams and provide guidance, training, and performance feedback. Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations. Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime. Prepare production reports, MIS reports, and performance analysis for management review. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
Experience in FMCG or Tobacco manufacturing operations.
Leadership and team management skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Good analytical and reporting skills.
Knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and process improvement techniques. Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting tools.
Preferred Candidate
Profile 7–8 years of experience in production/manufacturing operations. Prior experience in Tobacco or FMCG industry preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong communication and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹58,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
