Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Environmental Engineering preferred
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with relevant Environmental/SWM experience may also be considered
- M.E./M.Tech in Environmental Engineering will be an added advantage
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience in Municipal Corporation, Government Projects, ULB or Solid Waste Management will be preferred
- Relevant freshers may also be considered based on project requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support Solid Waste Management (SWM) activities.
- Conduct field inspections and environmental assessments.
- Monitor waste collection, segregation, transportation, processing and disposal activities.
- Prepare environmental reports, MIS reports, inspection reports and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental rules and municipal guidelines.
- Monitor waste processing facilities, MRFs, composting and other waste-management infrastructure.
- Coordinate with municipal officials, contractors, vendors and field teams.
- Identify environmental issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain environmental monitoring records and project data.
- Assist in preparation of DPRs, presentations and technical reports.
- Support implementation of environmental improvement initiatives.
