We are hiring an experienced and result-oriented Branch Manager for a reputed Freight Forwarding company in Ghana, West Africa. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in freight forwarding operations, documentation management, logistics coordination, and branch administration.
The candidate must be capable of independently handling complete freight forwarding activities while ensuring smooth operational flow, customer satisfaction, and compliance with international shipping standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee complete branch operations related to freight forwarding.
- Handle export and import documentation for Air Freight and Sea Freight shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Ensure timely shipment execution and operational efficiency.
- Monitor shipment tracking, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
- Supervise daily operational workflow and maintain service quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and international partners.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company procedures.
- Lead, train, and manage operational and documentation teams effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries, issue resolutions, and operational escalations professionally.
- Prepare operational reports and branch performance updates for management.
- Support business development through operational excellence and client retention.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of strong experience in Freight Forwarding operations.
- Proven expertise in handling complete freight forwarding documentation procedures.
- Strong knowledge of import/export operations, customs clearance, and logistics coordination.
- Experience in handling both Air Freight and Sea Freight operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to independently manage branch-level responsibilities.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and freight forwarding operational systems.
