Unisex Hairstylist
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and creative Unisex Hairstylist to provide hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services for both men and women. The ideal candidate should have strong customer service skills, knowledge of current hair trends, and the ability to recommend suitable hairstyles and hair care treatments based on client preferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their hairstyle and grooming needs
- Perform haircuts, trimming, styling, blow-drying, and finishing services
- Provide hair coloring, highlights, straightening, smoothing, rebonding, perming, and other chemical treatments
- Offer beard trimming, shaving, and grooming services for male clients
- Recommend hair care products and treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tools, workstations, and salon areas
- Stay updated with current hairstyle trends and techniques
- Build and maintain positive client relationships
- Manage appointments and ensure customer satisfaction
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Hair Styling / Cosmetology
- Proven experience as a hairstylist or salon professional
- Knowledge of hair treatments, coloring techniques, and styling tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays if required
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a unisex salon environment
- Knowledge of premium hair care brands and products
- Basic sales skills for promoting salon services and products
Work Environment
- Salon, spa, beauty studio, or grooming center
- Standing for long hours may be required
- Fast-paced and customer-facing role
Salary
- Based on experience, skills, and location
- May include incentives, commissions, and tips
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
