Position description: Rabirun Vinimay Pvt. Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee the Mechanical Maintenance operations within our Utility department. This role demands a seasoned professional who can manage and optimize maintenance activities for mechanical systems, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will lead a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, develop preventive maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support the company’s infrastructure and production goals in a dynamic industrial environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the mechanical maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of all utility-related mechanical equipment and systems.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance shutdowns and major repairs with minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for reliability improvements.
- Manage maintenance budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of spare parts and tools to optimize operational costs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by adopting best practices, new technologies, and innovative maintenance methodologies.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and project progress to senior management.
- Mentor and develop the skills of maintenance staff through training programs and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations.

Required work experience
- Years of experience:
10-12 years of experience in Utility Operation & maintenance of steel plants with 3-5 years’ experience of handling project activities.
