We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Admin (1–2 years of experience) to join our IT infrastructure team. In this role, you will assist in designing, maintaining, and securing our network environment. Key Responsibilities (KRAs)1. Network Design and Implementation Support
- Deployment Assistance: Assist senior engineers in designing and deploying scalable, efficient network solutions that meet company needs.
- Configuration & Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of all network configurations, topologies, and changes to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
2. Network Security Maintenance
- Protocol Enforcement: Implement and maintain basic security protocols (firewalls, access control lists, VPNs) to protect against unauthorized access.
- Vulnerability Checks: Participate in regular network security audits and vulnerability assessments to help identify and remediate security risks.
3. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Traffic Monitoring: Utilize network monitoring tools to track day-to-day performance metrics and identify bandwidth bottlenecks or latency issues.
- Optimization: Assist in tweaking network configurations based on performance data to enhance overall system efficiency.
4. Troubleshooting and Technical Support
- Incident Resolution: Provide timely support to resolve network incidents, minimizing downtime and restoring service for users.
- Knowledge Base Creation: Document common issues and their solutions to help build a comprehensive internal knowledge base, streamlining future troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in a network administration, IT support, or junior network engineering role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: * Foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing & Switching).
- Familiarity with setting up and configuring standard network hardware (Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, etc.).
- Basic experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios).
- Certifications (Highly Preferred): Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ / Security+.
- Soft Skills: A strong desire to learn, solid written communication skills for documentation, and a collaborative mindset.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
