Job Summary
The Inventory & Dispatch Manager is responsible for managing inventory, warehouse operations, and dispatch activities to ensure accurate stock control, timely order fulfillment, and efficient distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and control inventory levels across warehouses.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/inventory management system.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory verification.
- Monitor stock movement, including receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
- Ensure timely replenishment to prevent stock-outs and overstocking.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch schedules to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Verify dispatch documentation and coordinate with transporters for on-time deliveries.
- Monitor dispatch status and resolve delivery-related issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and dispatch reports.
- Implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure proper storage, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), inventory security, and safe loading of goods.
- Lead and supervise the inventory and dispatch team, providing training and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or dispatch management.
- Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry is preferred.
