About the role
Cybrilla is hiring a Senior Software Developer to help build Fintech Primitives - described internally as "the AWS of wealth management" - designing and maintaining APIs and applications across Cybrilla's products. You'll work on a platform akin to a Linux kernel for the fintech ecosystem, debugging production issues across microservices and building new features at scale.
What you'll do
Design, build, and maintain APIs and applications across Cybrilla's products
Debug production issues across different microservices
Work with other engineers to build new features and products at scale
Improve engineering standards and build necessary internal tooling
Identify areas for modification in existing programs and develop those modifications
What we're looking for
6 - 10+ years of relevant experience
6-10 years of backend development experience with strong Java, J2EE, and Spring expertise
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and relational database concepts
Experience designing, building, and maintaining production APIs and applications using Java frameworks
Ability to debug production issues across distributed microservicesStrong attention to detail in every part of the code you design and build
