Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience in managing and supporting enterprise-grade network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high availability, performance, and security of customer networks, with a strong focus on firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
This role demands a proactive individual who can work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across network operations.
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with a solid track record of managing complex network and security environments. The candidate will be expected to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of customer networks, with hands-on expertise in firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches, and wireless technologies.
This position requires someone who is self-driven, capable of working independently, and skilled in resolving intricate technical issues. The role also involves contributing to ongoing improvements in network operations and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support customer network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Handle configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto firewalls.
Administer and optimize load balancers (F5 and NetScaler) for high availability and performance.
Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches across core and edge environments.
Deploy and manage Cisco SD-WAN solutions and wireless access points (WAPs).
Participate in network design, implementation, and documentation activities.
Ensure compliance with quality control standards and inspection protocols.
Provide L3 support for escalated network issues and coordinate with OEMs and vendors as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
Maintain detailed records of network configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
Design and deploy networking solutions across DC.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong understanding of network terminology and protocols.
Hands-on experience with:
o Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto firewalls
o F5 and NetScaler load balancers
o Cisco routers and switches
o SD-WAN
o Cisco Meraki (Router, switches, AP)
Proven experience in managing production and core network infrastructure.
Familiarity with quality control and inspection methodologies.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Exposure to process optimization techniques in network operations.
Certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in enterprise networking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work in shifts.
