Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining hospital buildings, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure safe, clean, and uninterrupted healthcare operations. Handles preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and emergency troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, medical gas systems, and other facility services.
Key Responsibilities General Maintenance
- Perform routine inspection of hospital facilities and equipment
- Repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical issues
- Ensure smooth operation of hospital infrastructure
- Maintain lighting, fans, switches, pipelines, doors, and fixtures
Equipment & Utility Maintenance
- Monitor generators, UPS systems, HVAC, lifts, and water systems
- Check oxygen pipelines and medical gas systems
- Coordinate servicing of hospital equipment
- Maintain records of breakdowns and repairs
Preventive Maintenance
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules
- Conduct regular safety inspections
- Reduce downtime through timely servicing
- Ensure compliance with hospital maintenance standards
Safety & Compliance
- Follow fire safety and infection control procedures
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety regulations
- Report hazards and emergency issues immediately
- Support disaster management and emergency response activities
Documentation
- Maintain maintenance logs and service reports
- Record inventory of tools and spare parts
- Prepare daily and monthly maintenance reports
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshooting and repair skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork
- Ability to work under pressure and emergency situations
Pay: From ₹13,000.00 per month
