Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate computer science lessons, covering topics like digital literacy, coding, and web design.
- Practical Instruction: Conduct hands-on lab sessions to teach programming (Java/Python) and application software, ensuring proper usage of computer hardware.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Prepare, invigilate, and grade examinations and projects, providing constructive feedback to track student progress.
- Lab Maintenance: Ensure the computer laboratory remains clean, safe, and functional, including installing software updates and troubleshooting hardware.
- Student Support: Provide individual attention to students, supporting them with projects, competitions, and board exam preparation.
- Collaboration: Work with colleagues for cross-curricular projects and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
- Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, MCA, or B.Tech/B.Sc, along with a B.Ed degree.
- Experience: 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a private school setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, classroom management, and a passion for teaching technology to young minds.
- Additional: Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE board requirements is often required.
