Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer (MERN Stack) with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and React.js, along with experience in building secure, high-performance backend systems and RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Develop robust RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Design, optimize, and manage MongoDB databases.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, and RBAC.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with React.js applications.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Implement caching solutions such as Redis.
- Work with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and maintain Docker containers and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high application availability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization.
- Good understanding of React.js and frontend-backend integration.
- Experience designing scalable microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, WebSockets, and API security.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
- Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka is an advantage.
- Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and API testing.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working on SaaS or product-based applications is preferred.
- Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
