Job Overview
Lappy Maker is looking for a skilled and dedicated Laptop Technician who has hands-on experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing laptops and desktop systems. The ideal candidate should have technical expertise in hardware-level repairs and customer handling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot laptop and desktop hardware/software issues.
- Repair and replace laptop components such as motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, keyboard, display, battery, charging IC, etc.
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and required software.
- Perform laptop servicing, cleaning, thermal pasting, and maintenance.
- Handle motherboard-level troubleshooting and chip-level repairing (preferred).
- Maintain repair status and update service records regularly.
- Coordinate with the support team for timely service completion.
- Ensure quality checks before delivery of repaired devices.
- Provide basic technical guidance to customers when required.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware.
- Understanding of Windows installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of motherboard diagnostics and repairing.
- Familiarity with BIOS flashing and software troubleshooting.
- Ability to use repairing tools and testing equipment.
- Basic communication and customer handling skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in laptop repairing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in chip-level repairing.
- Knowledge of MacBook troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ability to handle multiple repair cases efficiently.
