Job Summary:
The AC Technician Helper assists the AC Technician in installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. The role involves supporting daily operations, handling tools, and ensuring smooth functioning of HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist AC Technician in installation and servicing of AC units (Split, Window, Central AC).
- Help in cleaning filters, coils, ducts, and other components.
- Support in basic maintenance and preventive servicing activities.
- Carry tools, equipment, and materials required for work.
- Assist in identifying minor faults and reporting issues to the technician.
- Help in gas charging and leak detection under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area after completion of tasks.
- Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE.
- Assist during emergency breakdown repairs.
- Perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10th / 12th pass
- ITI (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) – preferred but not mandatory
Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience in AC or maintenance field
- Freshers can also apply
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of AC systems
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment
- Willingness to learn HVAC systems
