The Network Security Engineer L3 in Mangaluru will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network security infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of network security principles, technologies, and best practices. The engineer will be involved in incident response, vulnerability management, and ensuring the overall security posture of the organization's network. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security appliances.
- Monitor network traffic and security events, identifying and responding to security incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure secure network configurations and operations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network security issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
- Manage and maintain security-related documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for network security incidents.
