Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on PCB Design Trainer to instruct and mentor hardware trainees in end-to-end circuit design, multilayer layout optimization, and manufacturing preparation using modern EDA tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive training on schematic capture, component library creation, and multi-layer PCB routing.
- Teach practical concepts of signal integrity, power integrity, thermal management, and EMC/EMI mitigation.
- Guide trainees through generating manufacturing outputs (Gerber files, NC Drill, BOM, Pick and Place files) following IPC standards.
- Design real-world project assignments and conduct technical design reviews for student projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- EDA Tools: Expertise in Altium Designer, KiCAD, or OrCAD/Allegro.
- Core Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in electronics, DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly), high-speed routing, and circuit testing.
- Experience: PCB design experience with demonstrated training or mentoring capabilities.
