About Trafasa
Trafasa is building a B2B procurement and supplier discovery platform for SMEs, helping businesses digitize purchasing, vendor discovery, RFQ workflows, and supplier management.
The platform aims to replace fragmented procurement processes currently handled through WhatsApp, emails, and Excel sheets with an integrated digital system.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Lead who will take ownership of the platform architecture, development quality, and technical direction of Trafasa.
This role requires someone who can write production-grade code, guide the development team/agency, and translate founder requirements into scalable technical solutions.
You will work directly with the founders and ensure the product is built correctly, efficiently, and without unnecessary delays.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Development
- Build and maintain the core Trafasa platform and marketplace features
- Write clean, scalable backend and platform code
- Develop and extend modules such as vendor discovery, RFQ workflows, supplier listings, and procurement dashboards
Technical Architecture
- Design the overall system architecture for scalability and performance
- Decide when to build, integrate, or modify existing components
Development Oversight
- Coordinate with the external development agency / internal developers
- Review code and implementations to ensure they meet the required standards
- Identify technical issues, inefficiencies, or incorrect implementations
Product Translation
- Convert founder requirements into technical specifications and feature requirements
- Provide technical recommendations and alternative solutions
Speed & Execution
- Ensure development work moves fast without compromising quality
- Identify bottlenecks and resolve technical blockers
Quality Control
- Test and review new features before release
- Ensure the platform remains stable, secure, and scalable
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Python and backend development
- Experience working with Frappe / ERPNext or similar frameworks
- Understanding of web platform architecture and marketplace systems
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with Docker, Linux, and server infrastructure
- Ability to review and guide the work of other developers
Good to Have
- Experience building B2B marketplaces or procurement systems
- Experience integrating AI or automation tools into SaaS products
- Experience managing external development agencies

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
