Role: School Academic Mentor

Role Summary
The School Mentor is a key academic strategist and student advocate within the Integrated School Program. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between Board examinations and competitive entrance prep (NEET/JEE). Your mission is to track academic data, provide personalized mentorship, and ensure each student navigates their dual-curriculum path with confidence and excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Data-Driven Academic Monitoring
- Performance Tracking: Systematically evaluate student progress across Daily Practice Problems (DPPs), Chapter-Wise Exams (CWEs), and Mock Tests.
- Trend Analysis: Utilize logs and data to identify performance shifts (improvement, decline, or stagnation) and diagnose discrepancies between Board and Entrance (NEET/JEE) scores.
- Targeted Interventions: Design and execute weekly corrective action plans for struggling students, ensuring measurable progress through focused practice.
2. Strategic Academic Planning
- Curriculum Alignment: Implement the school-specific yearly academic plan in coordination with Academic Coordinators.
- Balanced Delivery: Ensure a seamless blend of theory-heavy Board preparation and application-based MCQ techniques for NEET/JEE.
- Evaluation Design: Refine DPP evaluation patterns to ensure students master both descriptive depth (Boards) and precision speed (Competitive Exams).
3. Personalized Mentorship & Discipline
- Student Advocacy: Maintain detailed review logs for a cohort of 35+ students, tracking academic, emotional, and behavioral factors.
- Coaching & Support: Conduct 1-on-1 feedback sessions and doubt-clearing blocks to boost student confidence and set achievable short-term goals.
- Operational Oversight: Manage weekly tests and "Great India Benches" (GIB); oversee hostel rounds to maintain discipline and student well-being.
4. Stakeholder Communication
- Parental Engagement: Conduct bi-weekly updates with parents regarding student performance, attendance, and holistic development.
- Expectation Management: Address parental concerns regarding curriculum priorities, advocating for the long-term benefits of the integrated model.
- Financial Liaison: Facilitate fee-related communications, ensuring timely collection and accurate record-keeping on the internal portal.
Skills & Competencies
- Subject Matter Expertise: Strong foundation in Class 11–12 Board syllabus and the specific nuances of NEET/JEE patterns.
- Analytical Prowess: Ability to interpret complex student data and translate logs into actionable improvement plans.
- Dual-Competency Evaluation: Expert in grading both descriptive academic answers and analyzing MCQ performance trends.
- Effective Communication: Clear, empathetic, and professional verbal and written skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents.
- High-Volume Management: Capable of managing the academic lifecycle of 35+ students under strict deadlines and exam-cycle pressure.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
