Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation & Eligibility Assessment: Meet with clients (in-person, phone, or online) to understand their travel plans, assess eligibility for tourist visas, and advise on the most suitable visa type and destination countries.
- Provide Expert Guidance on Requirements: Explain visa rules, procedures, processing times, fees, and documentation needed (e.g., invitation letters, itineraries, financial proofs, travel insurance, accommodation bookings). Highlight specific requirements for tourist visas like proof of ties to home country and intent to return.
- Document Preparation & Review: Help clients gather, organize, and review supporting documents. Ensure applications are complete, accurate, and error-free to avoid rejections. This may include filling out online forms.
- Application Submission Support: Assist with submitting visa applications online or via courier, scheduling appointments at embassies/consulates, and tracking application status.
- Interview Preparation: Coach clients on visa interview techniques, common questions, and how to demonstrate strong ties to their home country (e.g., job, family, property) to prove non-immigrant intent for tourist visas.
- Stay Updated on Regulations: Continuously monitor changes in immigration laws, visa policies, and embassy procedures across countries.
- Lead Generation & Client Management: Handle inquiries, generate leads (often via telecalling), maintain client relationships, and follow up on applications. In some roles, this includes upselling related services like travel insurance or flight bookings.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all advice and processes comply with legal and ethical standards. Advise clients on potential issues (e.g., previous refusals, medical requirements) and maintain confidentiality.
- Additional Support: For tourist visas, advise on itinerary planning, flight/hotel bookings (sometimes), medical/travel insurance, and post-approval guidance (e.g., entry procedures).
Typical Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of tourist visa processes for major destinations.
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- 1–5+ years of experience in visa/immigration services (common requirement).
- Often a background in travel & tourism, international relations, or related fields.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
