The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, vendor and client accounts, and supporting the finance team. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely payments, and compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. In an engineering and MEP business, the role often includes project accounting, vendor payments, and coordination with procurement and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain books of accounts.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare and process vendor payments and customer invoices.
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Maintain General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Trial Balance.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants during audits.
- Monitor project expenses, purchase bills, and cost allocations.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Verify employee expense claims and reimbursements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company financial policies.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in the Engineering, Construction, or MEP industry is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
- GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Tally ERP / Tally Prime, ERP software, and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Financial reporting and MIS preparation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
