Job Role:
The English & Computer Trainer will be responsible for conducting English Communication and Computer Skills training for degree students at the Skilling Campus. The primary objective is to enhance students’ employability skills and support successful placement outcomes.
Core Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct skill training sessions for degree students at the Skilling Campus.
- Deliver the prescribed SkillPlus English Communication Skills and Life Skills curriculum to prepare students for industry requirements.
- Deliver the prescribed SkillPlus Computer Skills curriculum, including practical and hands-on training.
- Ensure measurable improvement in students’ employability and placement readiness.
- Conduct periodic tests, assessments, and evaluations to track student performance.
- Review and analyze student progress and implement improvement strategies where necessary.
- Provide individual feedback, mentoring, and career guidance to students.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and performance reports.
- Create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in English, Computer Science, IT, Education, or related field.
- Strong command of English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer applications.
- Good presentation and classroom management skills.
- Ability to mentor and motivate students.
- Strong analytical skills to review student performance.
Preferred Profile:
- Prior experience in employability skill training or campus training programs.
- Experience in working with degree students or freshers.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
Key Outcome Expectation:
The trainer will be accountable for the enhancement of students’ employability skills and contributing to improved placement outcomes under the SkillPlus program.
