Domain: Sr. Design Engineer
Job Location: Chakan, Pune
Salary: As per norms
Work Experience:
- 3 Years Experience in Automotive Interior plastic part design.
- CATIAv5– 3 years minimum experience , with hands on experience on surfacing and advanced surfacing skills.
Skills required are as below:
- Work experience in DFMEA, DVP and APQP documentation (minimum 2 Years).
- EBOM, MBOM and PDM experience(2 Years).
- Experience on Enovia or Team Centre would be added advantage.
- Automotive Interior Plastic part design.
- Plastic part design for Injection molding.
- CATIA -Solid and Surface Modeling, Drafting, Kinematics and assembly.
- CATIA-Surface Modelling- High skill level expected.
- MS Office – Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Email- Outlook or Gmail.
- APQP Procedures and documentation(DFMEA, DFM, DFA, D/PVP).
Qualifications:
- BE or B. Tech Mech or Automotive engineering – minimum 60%.
- Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 3 Years additional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Development of Automotive door handles(Outer and Inside).
- Conceptualization -through sketches and 3D.
- 3D design -using surface modeling or solid modeling.
- Kinematic study and calculation of handle efforts.
- Drafting using GD&T as per ASME Y 14.5.
- Calculations -springs, abuse loads, strength.
- Co-ordinate with CAE engineer for simulations.
- Design of Torsion spring, bolts, studs, nuts, pins etc.
- Understand CAE report and do necessary changes in the design.
- Co-ordinate with customers and internal CFT for successful execution of projects.
- Support R&D department on new part number creation and BOM control.
