Job Title: PYP Homeroom Teacher (Grade 2)
Location: One World International School (OWIS), Sarjapur, Bengaluru
Curriculum: International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with the IB PYP framework.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with PYP colleagues, specialist teachers, and coordinators to ensure effective curriculum implementation.
- Integrate transdisciplinary learning experiences and promote international-mindedness.
- Maintain accurate records, student portfolios, and assessment documentation.
- Participate actively in school events, parent meetings, professional development programs, and collaborative planning sessions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Education or relevant subject area with B.Ed.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Primary Grades.
- Prior experience in IB PYP schools preferred.
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
- Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
