Job Summary
The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily front office operations, ensuring excellent guest service, smooth check-in/check-out processes, and effective coordination with all hotel departments. The role includes leading the front office team, handling guest concerns, and maintaining hotel service standards.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Guest Service & Front Desk Operations
- Supervise daily front desk operations and ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
- Ensure efficient check-in and check-out procedures as per hotel standards.
- Welcome guests warmly and provide personalized service.
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and feedback professionally.
- Ensure VIP guest arrangements and special requests are properly managed.
Team Supervision & Training
- Monitor front office team performance and provide guidance.
- Allocate duties and prepare staff schedules as per operational requirements.
- Train new team members on hotel procedures, systems, and service standards.
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate important updates to the team.
- Motivate staff to achieve guest satisfaction goals.
Operational Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate room status updates and coordination with Housekeeping.
- Monitor room availability, occupancy, and special room requirements.
- Maintain proper handling of guest profiles, registrations, and records.
- Ensure billing accuracy and coordinate with Accounts for payment-related issues.
- Monitor cash handling, shift closing, and handover procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and safety standards.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Security, and other departments.
- Communicate guest requirements and operational updates effectively.
- Support Front Office Manager in achieving departmental targets.Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Front Office operations.
- Strong guest handling and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
